Privacy & Cookies
What we collect (very little), what cookies do here, and your choices.
Who we are
OutfitSorted is an independent UK fashion recommendations website. For anything in this policy, you can reach us via the contact page.
What we collect
Browsing this site does not require an account, and we do not ask for personal information to read our edits. The limited data involved comes from three places:
- Newsletter: if you subscribe, we store the email address you provide, only to send the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
- Contact: if you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your message.
- Analytics: we may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics to understand which pages are read. This data does not identify you personally.
Cookies
This site itself sets no tracking cookies. However, when you click through to Amazon via one of our links, Amazon sets an affiliate cookie on your device. This cookie tells Amazon your visit came from us so a qualifying purchase can be credited — it is how the site earns, as explained in our affiliate disclosure. Amazon’s own use of cookies is governed by Amazon’s cookie and privacy notices on amazon.co.uk.
You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. The site remains fully readable with cookies blocked.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent any personal data. Data is only shared with the service providers needed to run the site (for example, the email platform that sends the newsletter), and only for that purpose.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email us via the contact page and we will act on the request promptly.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date below.
Last updated: August 2026. This page is a general template — review it against your final setup (analytics tool, email provider) before going live.
